How can you send a welcome message to someone who signs up for the first time via your Google Form, and ensure it's only sent once?
How can you send a welcome message in the registrant's native language?
How can you automatically limit answer choices by hiding and reappearing options on a custom time cycle?
How do you assign your dedicated staff to contact the right Google Form registrants with corresponding requests?
How can they connect with each other as quickly and conveniently as possible?
Form Tag Manager (FTM) helps you easily accomplish all of the above, and more. So, how does FTM do it?
Have you heard of or used a "trigger" before?
Simply put, it's a conditional event used to activate a specific task. For example: a first-time registrant appearing is the condition, and sending them a welcome message is the task.
Triggers were first implemented in applications within Google Forms add-ons.
With triggers, one condition can be applied to multiple tasks, and one task can also be activated by various different conditions.
Go ahead and install and experiment, and join our discussion group for assistance whenever you need help.
We wish you exciting discoveries with FTM!
Let's start with Timers and see if they are working correctly.
Next, let's try creating Triggers, starting with a simple condition first.
After that, let's try enabling the limiter along with selecting a simple trigger.
Finally, let's test the submission event (which also requires selecting a trigger to run) to see if it's useful.
